Notices: New Release Dates
7th July 2008? Nah, not for all groups.
We would also like to apologize for no updates since February 6th. We will normally resume the update routine from this Monday. But, don’t worry even though there were no updates, we still did some work on the RPG game.
But look at the new release dates!

These could be the fixed dates now since we are getting closer into finishing Smash! 2. Yep, we are almost there.
Notice: Smashout Closed
Not closed entirely but until Monday…
Please note that there wouldn’t be anymore updates until next Monday.
Notice: Smash! 2 Open Play
You all have been invited to test drive a pinch of Smash 2!
Lucky you. We had decided because of the long, long wait we will give you a small test drive of Smash! 2 on a destinated time. We are going to call this test drive Smash! 2: Open Play.
In order to play Smash! 2: Open Play you would need a SAR forum account. And your precious time at this date and time:
Smash 2: Open Play,
Location: SonAmy Revolution Forums,
Date: Monday 7th April 2008
Time: 11:00am-11.30am [GMT], 6:00am-6.30am [EST]
Be there…or be square! If you miss this chance don’t worry, you might as well wait for the full game that is coming on in July.
Books
Books are useful to buy and read in Smash! 2’s Downtown Book Store!
….hey, hey. Don’t forget there are other book stores too, but Downtown City is the most common place to almost get everything you need. OUCH! Some book prices are expensive. But you won’t regret it! There are some books which uncovers secrets like how to collect all Chaos Emeralds, and Triple Triad cards.
Notice: Smash 2 release will move to Summer
We are really sorry for the people who wanted to play Smash 2 so badly, but we have decided to move the release until the summer. We were planning to officially open Smash 2 on my birthday in March, but because of people’s lack of interest and just days away from the huge release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl when we release this, we cannot release this RPG game then as only one or two will play it. I again apologize for the people who wanted to play Smash! 2 at this time. All groups except (Family who may not play Smash! 2 until later because of problems) will play Smash! 2 on a new target date: July 7th, 2008. Wait, July 7th?! Isn’t that SAR’s first birthday? However…it may decide to release it before that date when it’s ready, you never know…
Downtown City

The city everyone wants to visit. Probably the best and common place in Smash! 2…
Downtown City has got it all. From Inns to stores, there isn’t a thing missing there. But of course, it may be the place everyone wants to visit but you’ll probably reach here in the during the storyline of Smash! 2. It will take a while to get to the city, but you’ll make it if you really focus on the game.
Here are the magnificent places in Downtown City you can visit:
- Downtown Inn
- Downtown Book Store
- Downtown Bank
- Downtown Pet Store
- Downtown Weapon Store
- Downtown Magic Store
- Downtown Potions Store
- Downtown Triple Triad Centre
- Smash! Underground
- Cream’s Travel Shop (….duh, this Travel shop is in EVERY place…)
Also this place is Party Smash! playable. It also has a travel service, Smash! Underground. Sometimes, it’s good to go downtown.
Smash! Underground
The ultimate travel service for Smash! 2 is here…
This service is faster than foot! After discovering Downtown City, you can ride on the Smash! Underground service. It will cost you though, this service will charge you PER stop…so be prepared for that. But if you want to avoid any enemy encounters, then this service is for you.
Triple Triad Cards
So…how many Triple Triad Cards are there for you to collect?
There are a total of 35 cards for you to collect. Each one has a special ability for you to use in Triple Triad games. But which cards should you look out for?
Here are the Sonic series cards:
- Sonic
- Amy
- Blaze
- Knuckles
- Tails
- Shadow
- Silver
- Dr. Eggman
- Wave
- Jet
- Storm
Here are the Pokemon series cards:
- Pikachu
- Piplup
- Chimchar
- Manaphy
- Lucario
- Dialga
We just named 17 cards out of 35. The rest we haven’t mentioned are rare cards. Cannot be found in stores, only can be won by specific battles or missions. You will be surprised when you find a rare card. There will be extremely rare cards too, and the only chances of receiving them is by going to secret places in Smash! Planet. Here’s another clue none of the rare cards are from the Sonic series or the Pokemon series. Can you guess which other series are there?
Basically, in order to collect them all, you must had visited all places in Smash 2, including the hidden ones. The rare cards give you a lot of power in Triple Triad battles.
The SOS Brigade Clubroom
A clubroom in Smash 2? What is this?
This is one of our very hidden places in Smash 2, that you’ll have to find very hard and work very hard to reach this special place. There will be other hidden places as well as this. But these special places do not affect the main storyline of Smash! 2 and it’s optional to find that spot.
The clubroom was taken from the huge anime series “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya“. You may expect some of the characters from that particular series to be in that clubroom. Who knows? You may even challenge them to a Triple Triad Battle or RPG Battle. But which characters will be in that clubroom? Find out yourselves when you play Smash 2. (Well that’s if you find it that is)
