Chao and Pokemon smashed into Smash! 2

In Smash! 2, you may want a pet so it can help you along with your quest or battles. Go to the Downtown Pet Store in Downtown City, and if you have enough Gil and meet the level requirements, you’re able to buy a pet!

It can be a Chao you want to buy or Pokemon! In Smash! Classic, in battles your pet does nothing to help you finish off your opponents. In Smash! 2, that’s different. Your pets are actually playable to you while you’re in battle! If you want your pet to attack for you, NOW you can. Each pet has different attacks, which has different strengths and weaknesses.

If you want your pet to learn a new attack, you can always pop in to the Downtown Store located in Downtown City or Cream’s Travel Shop (located anywhere).

It’s time to give your main character a rest! (But, of course if your opponent attacks you instead of your pet, your pet can’t do anything about that….)
