MGS4: Microsoft says 360 can handle it

In a response to yesterday’s news, we have an updated news on this.
Microsoft have responsed that the Xbox 360 has the power to run Metal Gear Solid 4.
Because Final Fantasy XIII is now on multi-platform, there has been talks about MGS4 doing the same.
John Schappert, the vice-president of Live, Software and Services announced:
I’m certainly in the fan club that would love to see Kojima-san’s masterpiece come our way. It would be wonderful to play Metal Gear Solid on the Xbox. It could become another of the many franchises that started their life on another console that are now coming our way.
I can’t speak on behalf of Konami, but I can shed more light on the fact that we definitely have the power to run MGS4.
There are a lot of recent examples that are in true high-def on our platform and aren’t on PS3. We’ve got an amazing amount of horsepower and graphics power.
This is of course lies. We all know PlayStation 3 has better graphics power (by a little bit though)…and there is no way MGS4 will run better on the 360 than it can on the PS3.
Besides, if they ARE going to port…each MGS4 copy will like…have about 7 DVDs?

Today, the new PSP-3000 hits Japan today. The PSP-3000 is the redesigned version of Sony’s popular PlayStation Portable.
PSP-3000 is an even slicker version of the PSP Slim & Lite (all previous versions of PSP), it was announced during Sony’s Leipzig Games Convention press conference.
There isn’t much features; well except it has a built-in microphone and a better screen. The screen of the PSP-3000 is able to resist glare, so it will work better outdoors. The built-in microphone can be used for applications like Skype for PSP or for online gaming via Infrastructure. Cool huh?
There is a Video-Out feature has also been enhanced, now the PSP-3000 is able to interlace with televisions that don’t support a progressive output. You can basically use your PSP-3000 on non-HDTV’s as well.
PSP-3000 is out everywhere now. It was out in the US two days ago, Europe got this on sale yesterday and Australia also got their hands on it today.
