So what happened?
Okay so you asked, Guest. SAR has been offline for almost a whole week, due to the fact I was actually thinking of closing SAR for good. Yep, 4 days ago I wanted to close SAR for good and move on from this. So I deleted the forums and purposely replaced it with a 'blank page'.

But then 2 days later, I've been thinking...and maybe I've made a mistake. I know some people here they call this place home and I demolished it. Also I've been doing a new skin for this forum software (you're looking at her! <3) behind the scenes for a couple of months. I was thinking all that....wasted. So yes, I decided to give SAR another shot, but this time in the new IPB 3! Luckily, I didn't delete the database that held all our past information of this place so the upgrade was possible.

IPB 3 & Sonamy Revolution
For some of you, this place will be confusing for you there and there but you'll get used to it. IPB 3 is very slick and more clean than the previous IPB software we used. Everything here has been changed (or upgraded in a superior way) and you may love the great new features. Today guys, I want you to explore the features. Have a look around. ^^

Avatars & Signatures
You guys will notice straightaway. ^^ Um...when the upgrade performed, it wiped out all our siggys and avatars (but yay, it didn't delete our photo pics!) so yeah you'll need to personalize yourself again. >.<;;

Missing Features
Shop & Rings, Gallery, Trophies, Shoutbox, Challenge Arena and Blog will return in future. It's just the matter of when.
Gallery and Blog will return in 1-2 weeks. The others are unknown at this time. (And don't worry, your "rings" have not been deleted - they are safe...it's just you can't access them at this time.) All past PMs have been removed.

Any questions and feedback, please note it down here. Also, as I said before explore SAR under IPB 3 and enjoy! =D

NOTE TO ALL AFFILIATES
We just upgraded, so please give me time to put your links back up. It will be back here within a week. Thankies~

Oh and btw, this site looks even more pretty if you use Firefox. I recommend you to get Firefox! =D

Another note - European users here won't get their hands on the new SAR forum until tomorrow. So don't expect them to visit today.

Oh, and the Messenger feature we have here is way beyond awesome. You can start a private conversation with up to 4 (or 6?) people there.

If you receive a PM, you'll know straightaway by looking at your photo picture on the top right corner of the page. You cannot miss it. ^^

Yes, it has to be redesigned because we are no longer using IPB 2. The old skins are incompatible with this upgraded software, so we had no choice. I really hope you like this one at least equivalent to the old default skin we had...

It's so different! It will definitely take some time to get used to. The skin is nice, but I will miss the old one. Make sure next time you close this place to tell us! ESpecially if you think about closing it, so we can set up plans to stay in contact with friends.

Can't wait to see how all of this turns out! ^_^

Well when your account is enabled again, log out, log in using Facebook and link it with your Sozin account. =3

Well we might not lose complete contact. I still have you on the Playstation Network and, who knows, maybe you'd come on PSG once in a while.

Strangely, my avatar wasn't removed. I think I've fixed up everything else in my profile, though.

I hope we haven't lost too many/any members because of the noticeless downtime.

Well, I for one am glad to see this place is back. Primarily because it's the social... thing... I get during times of... peace? I dunno.

Now, IPB 3.0... It's very different. It'll take awhile to get use to, but I'm liking it so far!

It's not >that< different, but...it's different. I hope you know what I mean. It's different but everything here is similar to the old software. D=

Not to be a pest, but the Forum Stats and Icon Legend area at the bottom of the screen his shifted greatly to the right. This might only be my browser (Safari) or something.

I just checked and it does the same thing in Chrome. IE is fine, though.

It's okay, I'm used to little problems. I can always switch to Firefox if it ever really bugs me.

I really like the new admin CP, very sleek. Not that, with so many features missing, I'll be using it much aside from editing members.

Nice admin note by the way, not that it applies at the moment with the store down.

I know IE, AOL, Netscape and Firefox (best with firefox) works with this skin but not Safari and Chrome...and if I knew I couldn't be bothered by then to fix it. @.@

I wonder if Safari and Chrome uses the same engine... =o

Yep, it's very nice and well organized. When I first used it though, I just didn't know where to go and I was lost. XD

Are you planning on reopening the main website? It's currently redirecting here, but there is still an icon up there so I wasn't sure.

I don't know at this point of time. The main website was kinda useless if you think about it. SAR Europe will still have that old website, but for us Global ones - not sure because it's pointless if no one visits it.

Oh and SAR TV Live will come back. Just need to add a link to it somewhere here.
