Welcome to the Sonamy Revolution (SAR)~! We are one of the friendliest communities around and we here like to thank you all for reading this and hoping you can join forums and stay active!

Our current members and staff here in SAR follow the rules here and I hope that you would do the same. Just like other forums, we except you to have at least good grammar, common sense and behave well. When registering, you must have agreed with the Terms of Service.

The Terms of Service is shown on the first page of the registering process. If you break a certain rule here, the SAR staff have the right to quote the rule that you've broken and warn you.

Sonamy Revolution has set up a validation system so bots cannot register and create spam. When registering you must put in a valid e-mail address that you can access. Otherwise, the registration will fail.


~ Warn System ~

We have a warn system set up in our forums. You can have a maximum of 5 warnings before you can get banned. You can get your warnings lowered if the SAR staff sees an improvement with your behavior.

1st warning (20%) = No action taken, verbal warning.
2nd warning (40%) = No action taken, verbal warning.
3rd warning (60%) = Two day suspension, then under moderation*.
4th warning (80%) = Two week suspension, still under moderation*.
5th warning (100%) = Banned from SAR.

* Moderation means your future posts and topics must be approved by a member of staff before shown to the public.

Once you've reached your 5th warning, and you've been banned do not attempt to go back to this site. You may view the forum as a guest and view our main site to see what's going on but do not ever try and sign up another account. If you do, we will have to IP ban you if necessary.

If you think you have changed and your behavior has been improved, e-mail staff@sonamyrev.net. The staff will think and decide whether you should come back or not. But only e-mail us 5 months later at the very least.

~ About the Staff ~

Sonamy Revolution hires well-behaved and potential staff that gets along and work hard together to keep Sonamy Revolution running and under control. However, if you WANT to be a member of staff, do NOT ask to become one, otherwise you wouldn't. The current SAR staff will pick who becomes a member of staff and who doesn't. You will be picked as a member of staff if we think that you are capable to become one. Keep this in mind, that admins/mods are not a better person then you are. If they begin to break the rules, they can be warned to and if possible remove their staff position.

Another important note, RESPECT THE STAFF at all times. Even if they start to get you mad. You don't want to make things worse for yourself.

If you have any questions about SAR, ask a member of staff. If serious and want a quicker response, ask an admin as they come here to help us everyday.


These are the rules. You must read them if you have accepted the Terms of Service. Reading this will keep you from getting a bad reputation here!

1. No Sonamy Bashing
Well this is a Sonamy forum. Again, you don't have to be a Sonamy fan here to join but bashing SonAmy is truely NOT acceptable here, as we have quite a huge number of Sonamy fans.


2. No Mature Content anywhere in the forum
Sonamy Revolution is a forum for people 10 years and over. We cannot accept highly mature content in this forum which includes fanfictions and art. We may even moderate you if you do.

There is a mature forum we put up now. You can post mature content there, however you will need that forum's password. Strict rules included. Contact a member of staff if you want access to that forum.


3. Swearing
We have a bad word filter installed in this forum. Do not attempt to make a workaround over the filter. Swearing is not allowed here as it's not appropriate for most members.


4. Flaming and Bashing
Similar to rule 1, bashing and flaming is not allowed here as it can offend people in SAR. Argue/flame/bash somewhere else but not here.


5. Advertising
Do not advertise your site in any topic apart from the Links forum. Do not advertise your site on PMs either. If caught, you'll be banned and your account may be deleted.


6. Language
Sonamy Revolution is an English forum. Us staff may want to know what's going on and what you're talking about. You can speak any language with your friend(s) ONLY in the Sonamy Chatting Forum. But if a member of staff asks you what you're talking about, you must have a translation.


7. Report Button
If you find a post that is braking the rules, under that post there should be a report button. This function will let you report the post to the forum moderator (or the administrator(s), if there isn't a specific moderator available). You can use this function when you think the moderator(s) should be aware of the existance of that post. However, do not use this to chat with the moderator(s)!. If you do use this to chat, you will get a warn.


8. Double Accounting
Any member is not allowed to double account. Smart people may do this so just in case they get banned on one account, they can use the other. When you get caught double accounting, your first account you registered in SAR will have a week suspension and the other(s) will get deleted.


9. Spamming
Spamming anywhere excluding "The Spamming Party" forum is not allowed. This includes one word posts, double posting (you may double post in the chatting forum), posting only smilies...all that. You will get verbal warnings at first if you break this rule, but if you have gone long enough we will start warning you.


10. Racism
Sonamy Revolution will not tolerate any racism videos, links or actions even anywhere in this forum. You will be suspended or even banned if you post any racism content in SAR. So please take care of this.

As staff, you have been chosen to keep this community active and check for any misbehavior from other members in this forum. The other thing is your activity in the forums. We want you to become active at least once every two days. We should also work as a team.
If you become inactive, we have no choice but demote your facilities. There could be members who try their best to keep this forum active and maybe even want the staff position you have now. However, if you are inactive because of school, vacation, family problems, your internet then your position won't be taken away. But you must announce your inactivity. But HERE are your rules of inactivity IF not announced:

15 days of inactivity = demoted.
21 days of inactivity = demoted (if possible).
30 days of inactivity = demoted (if possible).

Admin -> Global Mod -> Former Staff -> Former Staff (Leavers)

For example:
If you're an admin, and you leave without announcing 15 days later, you'll be demoted to Global Mod. 6 days later, if you still haven't turned up then you're demoted to Former Staff. 9 days later, if you STILL haven't turned up, you'll be moved to Former Staff (Leavers).

Former Staff (Leavers) is lowest possible rank you can be in. You can easily be moved up to Former Staff rank if you become active again. However, if you are still posting alot and if we haven't found a new member to replace you by then, your old staff position will be all yours.
