It's that time of month again. Time to pass the Member of the Month status to another member. This member has been around for a very long time, and has been keeping the forum active for us. When a new member signs up, he would do almost anything to get to know that new member and become friends. Not only that, he is one of our few writers in this forum. This member was so close to even become last month's MotM but in the end failed. So who is our June's Member of the Month? He certainly didn't fail this time, give it up for Sonamywriter!

Here is Sonamywriter's Member of the Month interview!

1. So your name "Sonamywriter". Did it just came randomly or there is a meaning behind it? If so, tell us!
Well, I actually called myself that name, because of a reason. You see, I am always thinking of plots, stories in general, specially within the Sonamy fandom. So, I decided to put my name as showed, to show the other members what I do.

2. Are you a major Sonamy fan? Please, tell us why you are or are not.
I consider myself a great Sonamy fan. When I was just 9, a friend of mine showed me one of those Sonamy Pictures. I really liked it, and I consider Sonic and Amy one of the best and sweetest couples in the entire videogame history.

3. Sonic games are awesome right, but which Sonic the Hedgehog game do you love the most?
One that I loved most? That is a hard question...but if I crack my mind, Sonic Adventure was one of the best I have ever played. Although I first played with Sonic with his first video game, Sonic the Hedgehog (1991).

4. Which video game consoles do you own and which one's your current favorite?
Well, I currently own the Nintendo 64, Gamecube, PS2, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. Of course, the favourite one for me is the Wii, because of its fun gameplay. Specially the motion ones.

5. What was the last Sonic game you bought, and is there a Sonic game you are looking forward to?
The last Sonic game I bought, was that one of Sonic and the Black Knight. It was fun, but a little too short for me. I am looking forward for Sonic 4. By the gameplay I have seen, it is finally a great game that will help Sonic get in the top again.

6. What do you currently think about Sonic Colors? Will it rock the gaming charts when it's out?
Well, I first thought by the title, that it was another bad idea of Sega. But after seeing a few gameplay videos, it is not that bad at all. So I think that it has a really good chance that it can be good.

7. When you played Sonic and the Black Knight, what was your favorite stage and why?
Hmm...I don't think I have an favourite level. I like some, I hate some, but I never have a favourite one over others. So I think that I don't have any favourite levels.

8. Did you enjoy Sonic and the Black Knight with the story and the gameplay or do you think this is another one of Sega's flops?
Actually, the gameplay was fun with it. And the story was for me very good. But it reminded me of a spin-off of God of War. Basically, God of War without blood. So, its a bit common with the later game.

9. Is there another gaming franchise besides Sonic you are in love with?
The Mario franchise of course. I still remember that I always played the Super Mario 64 videogame in my Nintendo 64. That was when I was a little boy. But after Mario, the Half-Life Franchise is one of my favourite one.

10. If you were an admin for the day what would you do?
Well I don't know what to say, because I never thought of the possibility of being an administrator. But If I were to become one, I would be always be taking care of the security of such a great forum that SAR is.

11. Do you have any special "final words" you'd like to tell the community?

You will be no doubt wanting to know why this has occurred, the reason being is that Sam just doesn't feel up to it. I'm sure she was hoping we'd have more members to celebrate it. Welcome back to Sonamy Revolution everybody! What have you been doing for the past 2 days?

So as you can see we are back with a bang. Sonamy Revolution has now been fully awakened and now on our we are ready to show the world!

So what's new ever since we closed down?

Sonamy Revolution Unite

A fresh new look has been made for the website. Sonamy section has been updated, and we will be bring some important Sonic the Hedgehog related news.

Forum Upgrade & New Skin

We have upgraded the forum to the latest forum software. There were some bugs that annoyed us a bit (Hey Speed! Maybe now you can update your 'About Me!') and now all of them have been fixed. You'll absolutely love the new features, including the all-new "Bottom Bar". Quick access to your messenger inbox, your profile, your gallery and your friends. You can even add your favorite pages within the forum.

Now about the "skin". Okay, originally there wasn't going to be a "new" skin. But after the upgrade, it kinda hurts me to say but the previous default skin we had...had some issues. It still works on most areas, but not in ALL areas especially our profiles. I tried my best to fix the problems, but it's *kinda* impossible to do within 2 days. So we are using this new Unite skin instead. Hope it's better. ^^

Facebook & Twitter Comes to Sonamy Revolution!

Got a Facebook and/or a Twitter account? Now Sonamy Revolution can now come close to you with your accounts! Update your status here for example, and it will automatically also update the same status on your Facebook/Twitter page! It can be the other way round too! Like this thread? Scroll down and you'll see a "Like" button for Facebookers. Want to share the thread with your Facebook/Twitter friends? Now you can with 'Share a Topic' also seen below the thread.

The Gallery has been upgraded. Now it feels more awesome to upload your photos and art in to the gallery. It's more neat looking than ever!

Introducing Revo Market

Remember that 'Store' we used to have before we upgraded to IPB 3? (Only old SAR members will remember) Now it's back with us on IPB 3. Some items are missing at the moment, but they will be added as soon as we can. Revo Market will have cheaper prices compared to the Mall, however stock can run out fast.

Advertising Campaign

To make this launch successful, Sonamy Revolution this time is going to make a huge effort making deals with huge sites such as The Sonic Stadium to get our banner up there. We'll keep you updated to see how it goes.

Arcade Night

Lastly, the arcade returns to Sonamy Revolution on June 11th! But it's not open now - it only opens to the users who has tickets to the Arcade Night. See the Sonic & Amy Crystalium forum for more details on Arcade Night.

Sonamy Revolution's last Member of the Month was Sonamylicious Caramel in July 2009. However because of the inactivity, Member of the Month went on hiatus since then. Months went by, until May we decided to bring back Member of the Month. Also for the first time and from now on, when a member gets to be Member of the Month, they will get a short interview before being promoted. So who got to be 2010's First Member of the Month? The result was very tight, it actually went in to a tiebreaker. But in the end, we give this award to this member who has been posting almost everywhere. Congratulations to Meeh!

1. The display name Meeh, how did you come up with such a name? Is there a meaning behind it?
There wasn't any special thinking about the name. It's the first name that I already had in my mind.

2. Are you a major Sonamy fan? If so, tell us why you are!
Yes, because I think that the other Sonic couples aren't too realistic in my mind. The couple 'Sonic and Amy' is one of the best that I seen in the gaming world.

3. What is your favourite Sonic the Hedgehog game you have played up to date?
This is a difficult question, but the best Sonic game for me is Sonic Adventure because it is more adventureous than the current Sonic ones. It is the only game that I can think of that it was actually a difficult game to beat to 100%.

I currently own a PS2, a PS3, a PSP, a Gameboy Advance, a PC, a PS1 and a Gameboy Color. My current favourites are the PS3 and the PS2 because are good consoles with a great amount of game.

5. What was your last Sonic game you had bought, and is there a Sonic game you are looking forward to?
My last bought Sonic game was Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. I'm planning on buying Sonic 4 when this arrives for download on the PS3.

6. Do you have massive hopes for Sonic the Hedgehog 4? You think that this game will finally revive Sonic?
Yes I have hopes for Sonic 4. When I heard it has some terrible levels, I was mad because I'm have a lot of interest for this game. I think that Sonic 4 will return Sonic to the glorious phase, however what I don't understand is SEGA wanting to release this in an episodic format.

7. When you played Sonic Adventure, what was your favourite stage and why?
The Windy Valley stage because it has great music (The Air music is one of my favourites) and it just has brilliant gameplay! (Especially in the 'Tornado' part in the level).

8. Did you enjoy Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing or you think this is another one of Sega's flops?
Yes I enjoyed this because one it is a good driving game mixed with the Sonic franchise, and two racing is my favourite genre.

9. Is there another gaming franchise besides Sonic you are in love with?
Crash Bandicoot. It's because Sonic's my first gaming franchise that I played and the Crash games are similar to Sonic, but a bit inferior to the Sonic's games.

I would advertise a lot more to get this forum up and running. I don't have more suggestions because this site is already that good.

Yes, I think that this forums needs more people and the admins and the moderators are doing a good job. 28 Trophies (1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 12 Bronze). Collect them all and receive the best treatment you'll have in SAR!

The trophies like "Sonamy VIP", "Rouge, what's in that box?" and all ribbon trophies are unattainable at the moment. I'll quickly announce these trophies when they are attainable

Oh and the Revos. You must be shocked that all your Revos are gone. Well that's because I installed a new mod that we all know and love but I'm keeping that a secret for now. Your Revos are not lost. On Wednesday 26th (tomorrow) you'll have your Revos back HOWEVER you have 24 hours to create a new bank account and deposit the money there. Because on Thursday any Revos left on hand will be permanently gone - sadly. So if you care about your Revos, do what I say!
